For Theft, loss and Malicious Damage Claims - you must notify the appropriate local Police authority within 24 hours of discovering the incident and obtain a Crime Reference / Lost Property number and a copy of the Police Crime Report.

You must be a UK resident aged 18 years or over to take out a gadget insurance policy through Protect Your Gadget. iMac owners under the age of 18, that live in the same household as the policy holder, will need a parent or other carer to purchase a policy on their behalf.

We will need to know exactly what the model of the device is in order to provide a quote. When you buy a policy you will be asked to provide the device's serial number - a unique code assigned to a gadget for identification.
